I am sure that by now everyone has noticed the foot draging that Mineta and his cohorts are exhibiting in placing every possible block in the way of completing the Armed Pilots Program.

I am convinced that these lowlifes are willing to sacrifice a thousand lives, just to continue their anti-gun agenda. After all, we can't have the spectacle of armed pilots thwarting a hijacking, now can we? That would give the pro gun rights groups additional proof that more guns mean less crime.:banghead:

You are 100% correct. Why Bush keeps Mineta around is a total mystery. Mineta was inept when Clintoon was in office, he is just as inept now.

Talking about this at work today. We are of the opinion that Bush is really clueless on details of security and especially clueless on any firearms issue. He just mouths RKBA cliches and is really an elitist anti at heart. He support CHLs because he had to.

Second, the bureaucracy in Washington is antigun. They figure GWB will be out in 2004 and then they can trash the program.

It is a shame Bush is so disconnected from firearms issues and reality.
