The CZ-82 is in near-mint condition, no alterations. The ammo came from Academy, by Wolfchase in Bartlett/Memphis.
Two of the rounds were duds on the first primer strikes.
Suddenly oily smoke came out when one fired. Then I noticed Bulged steel cases on all four or so rounds. Strange. Factory ammo in a perfect gun making steel bulge.
All of them have intact primers.
The good news is that this is a first with 9x18 ammo, and all of the Tula/Wolf has been normal. Yes, Monarch is probably made in one of the same factories.
No more Academy Monarch 9X18 for my money. But---Monarch 7.62x39 bought in '08 has been Perfect in my SKS.
I would recommend Monarch in That chambering.
