SCHOOLYARD FIND . . . In Flint, MI, on Sunday, children participating in an Easter egg hunt on the grounds of an elementary school reportedly found two loaded handguns, a BB gun and a broken toy pistol, according to the Associated Press. The pastor of Ruth Street Baptist Church, which sponsored the Easter event, told a local television station that one of the guns went off when it was dropped. There were no injuries reported. The other firearm contained a loaded magazine, but had an empty chamber.
Now who else thinks that a simple class on basic safety, taught in grade schools would have prevented this from happening? When you are educated about something, you fear it less.:banghead:
