Does anyone shoot a Beretta UGB? I have kind of a dumb question. If you are shooting Singles with it and have no 2nd shell in the side holder........does the spent hull eject out of the bottom or do you retrieve it by breaking open the action?

Real interesting shotgun but I can't see going back and picking up 25 hulls when you shoot singles. I checked and don't see any Shell Catcher made for it and a rubber band would get in the way of the action opening?

Thanks

The gun was designed mainly for International trap where taking shots is the norm, as well as for sporting clays where two shots is the norm.

Yours is a good question I have never heard before - but I would still assume it is going to work the action, as it doesn't know a shell isn't in the carrier until the ejection/reloading process has begun

There is a "I love my Beretta" forum section on shotgun world - you might also ask over there

Good luck
