Earlier this year I picked up a Bersa Thunder CC. The gun took FOUR MONTHS to arrive from the time of my order but was well worth the wait. During that time I ordered custom engraved grips from Dennis Marschal, and a UBG Bonneville holster.

At the range, It fired 100 rounds of Magtech FMJ without fail. All bullets hit within four inches of the bullseye shooting offhand from 12-15 feet. Plenty accurate for it's purposes. I then tried Wolf ammo, which totally failed. Lesson learned - no Wolf Ammo.

The dog on the grips? Part of the reason why I bought this gun was the hope that my wife would take a shine to it, and would be more interested in shooting. I certainly didn't want to buy a gun for her as that would be stoopid, but these days when I buy a gun I'm always thinking of who else might enjoy it.

The dog in question is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, of which we have three; my wife's pride and joy. I was thrilled to find out that Dennis Marschal of Marschal Grips was willing to do the engraving for me.

Indeed they are. First time I've bought them but having fired a few and inspecting the results I'll be picking some up in .40 and .45. The shape is especially nice since they feed so well.
