We have discussed the cheap stuff so lets see what everyone thinks is the best ammo out there...

I have had .25 inch 5 shot groups at 50 meters with Lapua Midas M, and L,

Dynamit Nobel FP 50, and surprisingly with CCI and Eley Subsonics with a CZ 452.

However just cant get the hyper expensive Eley Tenex Ultimate EPS to group well at any range. Though it does consistently group a little over 1 inch at 50 and 100 meters.. which is very wierd.

The CCI Velocitor's and Stingers also do well at 100 meters.

But the Winchester High Speed, Super Speed, Remmington's, Federal, is generally Minute of Soda Can accuracy.

The best 22 ammo....

is the brand of ammo that shoots the best out of YOUR gun. chris3

So far, in my T/C Benchmark, the best is Eley Tenex Ultimate EPS. But it is too expensive to shoot with all the time. The next best in my rifle is Lapua Master M.

From a 10/22 with butler creek barrel and jard trigger I have had excellent results with federal's automatch 40gr LRN. I have some Wolf Match Target that I am yet to try out. I stay well away from stingers, minimags, and velocitors which shouldn't really be used in 10/22s
(butler creek advises against stingers in their instructions).
I read a CZ452 test in G&A a few months back and they had the best accuracy with federal gold medal, but not nearly as good as your Lapua, so I'd just stick with that.

Despite the low price, I've had surprisingly good results with Wolf match and Federal Automatch.

Its wierd but out here in France I have yet to see Wolf ammo.

Did get a box Prvi Partizan in 300 WM which managed to keyhole at 100 M. :what:

I am a big fan of the CCI products. They seem very accurate to me and the leave the guns fairly clean. I have never had any ftf's with any of the CCI products either. They go bang 100% of the time.
