I have become totally fed up with my local FFL, and was wondering what the best places to buy guns online would be. I know about gunbroker and buds, and that's about it.
Also, if any of you are from Utah, where are some places with a good selection?

ffl

If your fed up with your FFl won't you still have to go through them to get your gun?

Along with gunbroker, check out auctionarms.com and gunsamerica.com

Just browse and don't be too impatient. Good deals will come.

Also check out the for sale threads on the major gun forums, such as this one.

Yes, you will still have to go through a FFL to get your gun. He will more than likely charge you a fee for this service. It may be anywhere from $20 to $40 if he's reasonable. It could be a lot more if he's not. This fee and shipping will have to be factored into your "Good Deal" you find online.
Some of those "good deals" aren't so good once you do all that. Just do your homework, there are some deals out there.

I live in Utah and my favorite place to shop is Impact Guns in Salt Lake City (4075 W 4715 S). The shop has a pretty good selection of guns and accessories and their service is the best in the valley. They also have a small range (4-5 lanes). The only problemis that their prices are high, not as high as Cabela's but still high.

A lot of people bitch and moan about Doug's Shootn Sports and how crappy their service is. I bought my first gun there (XD9-SC) and I have kept coming back for accessories and the like. I find their service to be just fine and their store to have one of the best selection of handguns in the valley. Their prices are also pretty competitive. If you like anything Springfield Armory Doug's is definitely the place to go. Their range sucks though.

The one I would stay away from is Get Some Guns. Rude people, super high prices, nice range though.

For on-line shopping the absolute best place is Whittaker Guns. See www.whittakerguns.com. They have a huge selection of guns and their prices are outrageous! I bought my P220 SAO from them and the service was absolutely great. Good luck with your search!

Sporting Arms has some very good prices and they're also great people to deal with.

Another vote for Sporting Arms here. Granted they're local for me, but they're the only place I buy new guns now. Great selection, great prices, and the best customer service of any dealer I've ever used.
