• The Sig Sauer M400 Enhanced Rifle, is designed for use in law enforcement, military operations, the sporting field, as well as competitive shooting. The SIG M400 is a true AR platform tactical rifle with unparalleled accuracy. A 16-inch chrome-lined phosphate-coated barrel provides superior corrosion resistance and a 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum-forged lower receiver adds to the durability and reliability that users come to expect from Sig Sauer. This OD version features a black upper and lower receiver, OD green polymer Magpul MOE forend, grip and collapsible stock. Ships with an embroidered Sig Sauer rifle bag.

Maybe Illinois is behind the times. Walmart had been selling ARs for some time now.

Kyle, both the Lancaster and Logan WM's carry firearms and have for quite some time. Stores closer to large cities do not carry them though.

Mine carried them up until about 05 then stopped, I keep hearing there going to start to again but I've yet to see it. The funny thing is my local walmart is in a small city of about 13,000 people, the nearest large city is columbus and it's 50 miles away.

You may be missing part of the point. This is in the Walmart Black Friday ad. You do not get anymore mainstream than the Walmart Black Friday ad.

At least two years, maybe more in WalMarts around here...often in printed ads during that time too.

Anyone know the normal price on that? might have to grab one for my son iff its actually a good deal..

Course it has to be a heck of a deal to get me to go out on Black Friday with them CRAZY people...

No guns at walmarts in ohio, at least not any of the ones I've been in for at least 5 years now.
Don't know where in Ohio you are but I have yet to see any in the Cleveland area. Wonder why they don't seem to stock guns here in Ohio like they once did? ;(

Wal-Marts policy is

to sell whatever sells best in a particular area. Their electronics department always makes significantly more than their sporting goods department so, if there is no or little call for certain items they will reallocate the foor space to whatever sells better. Also, I think their district managers have a certain amount of discretion as to what to stock and what not to. In Auburn ME, our Walmart has a great sporting goods department with several AR's and mini 14's while Falmouth has no long guns what so ever. Even some of the more rural ones don't have guns. Go figure.

There is plenty in the South Western Ohio WalMarts. Not all WalMarts stock and sell guns, but the ones that do almost always have ARs these days.

haven't seen walmart carry firearms in wi for a few years. at least in my area and surrounding counties

$917 currently here in Iowa. Just recently picked one up in OD green and now they're going on sale...go figure. Gotta say though, it really is a nice rifle. Mine has been 100% reliable so far and is proving to be pretty dang accurate.
