Bought a new HD shotgun today

Benelli M2 tactical. Gorgeous gun, but my wife thinks I'm nuts because of the cost. Sorry for not posting pictures but I don't know how.

I have an M2...if I remember right, it was just under 1k. Not bad for a gun with that reputation and performance level.

My LGS has a M2 Tactical for $600...no box, and only one choke. It has a small scratch on the barrel, but otherwise very clean. It has the pistol grip stock and ghost ring sights. Good deal?

My LGS only had one M2

with pistol grip and ghost ring sights. I paid $1100 NIB. So, $600 used seems reasonable if the gun is in good condition.

A great choice and even a great value! I love the Benelli design and those guns hold their value. I have the Beretta version of the Benelli action. That said, should one want the action type but be tighter for cash then one could buy a Stoeger (made under license from Benelli) for a lot less.

At that price it better have. You could probably GB it for 1000.
