well, i finally finished my brass catcher project...
i wanted one that didn't suck. more specifically, one that i could attach to a picatinny rail instead of hanging off the top, and a mesh bag instead of a plastic box, etc.

It also fits my AR15 pretty well, too.
It's made out of 1/4" steel rod, welded to a 1/4" steel bar and powder coated. The bag is a nylon mesh attached with a triple stitch and bias tape, and the bottom is velcro, so you can dump the brass w/o throwing the lever. All that is screwed to an A.R.M.S #17s throw lever. very, very sturdy. easy to remove.
