Browning A bolt Micro in 7'08

I was at the local shop looking for a smaller, handier rifle than my heavy barrel 700's. They didn't have any model 7's but did have a Browning A bolt micro hunter? in 7'08 not sure of the full name. How many of you fellas have one of these duminuative rifles? I liked the feel of it but know absolutely nothing about Browning guns except the old guy invented the 1911 yadada................ now they are made in Japan.
I am planning to handload whatever I buy and wondered what kind of accuracy to expect from an A bolt.

My good friend bought one for his boy for the boys first deer season, complete with Leupold dual dovetail rings on a one piece base to mount a Var-XII 2-7. It made one of the finest deer rigs I have ever seen. It is light, simple and strong. Accuracy with the remington core-lokts is right at 1" at 100 yards. The boy killed 3 deer the first year and two the next, all that were hit well dropped within 75 yards. I would LOVE to own one, but I would probably ream it for 284 Winchester. I think THAT would be perfection in a light handy deer and elk rifle.

Have one in .308---good LITTLE gun----surprising recoil---not bad--just more than you would think.

I picked up that rifle in 7mm-08 for one of my sons, and a Rem M7 SS synthetic (also in 7mm-08) for my other boy.

Both very nice rifles capable of MOA or better with my handloads (the Browning seems to shoot a hair tighter groups than the M7); both have nicely adjustable triggers, and carry very well (altho I prefer the balance of the M7 a slight bit more that the Browning).

Regarding the recoil, niether my 10 or 13 y/o find it objectionable, and when they had occasion to shoot an 8 pointer this year, swear they kick less than a .22 ;-)

Whether Belgian or Japanese, Brownings have always been quite accurate hunting rifles.

My 7mm08 weighs 6-1/4 pounds, fully dressed. From the benchrest, the recoil is not at all objectionable. In the field, it doesn't seem particularly "more-so" than my pet .243.
