Finally a store where you can order reloading components online for reasonable prices. www.cabelas.ca I beleive is the site.
Anyhow I am reloading in the summer and I want to work up some deer loads. I am leaning towards a nosler ballistic tip for my .30-06
The weights available I beleive are 150, 165, 168, and 180. Being that I hear this is a fairly fragile bullet I am leaning towards the 180. i think the 168 is great but most places only stock the 150/165/180. I also read that the 165 is about ideal for the .30-06 at ranges 300 and less.
This bullet should hold up as well as a corelokt or federal soft point? If not I might look into shooting an accubond or partition or some other bullet that is a bigger bang for the buck.
