Hi dsb , from your post's it sounds like you haven't heard of the PE90's , i might be wrong but here is a Canadian gun forum for you to check out......... www.canadiangunnutz.com .............. You might already know about it , but just in case you haven't ........Thanks

I like this line here:

"At least one shot was fired at police, ricocheting off of the windshield of a cruiser, leaving a hole and slightly injuring an officer in the vehicle."

First they mention how horrible this particular round is...then they casually mention the only round shot at the police ricocheted off the windshield of the cruiser! You and I know the plausability of this...but to the unknowledgeable public it might be hard to believe the lethality of ammo that bounces of windshields.

"In the gang context, the AR-15 could be deemed a status symbol because it's small and light and compact in terms of assault rifles," said Marko Jugley, a gun owner and executive member of the Maple Leaf Marksmen Rifle and Revolver Club in St. Catherines.

There always seems to be a subgroup of gun owners who think that if they act subservient to the anti's, and agree with a bunch of restrictions and gun bans, they will be allowed to keep their firearms. I have heard a lot of this kind of stuff from skeet shooters and hunters in particular.

Being a Cdn I am sorry to say how screwed up fellow Cdns are & especially the media as 95% of anti-gun people.

Some 8 or 10 yrs ago two kids (around 16 yrs of age) just 50 miles south of here entered a school bus & with a possibly 357/38 revolver had the bus driver stop to boot out the kids. Then for him to drive to an RV place where they felt they could get an RV with the point of the revolver & owner told them to go to 'ell.

So here is the school bus going down the hwy close to the USA/Cdn border when the RCMP close in & take away the two kids & the revolver.

Some twit or a reporter raved on about how dangerous a 357 Mag was & said even the target shooters told her one round will blow a hole through a target about the size of a small watermellon.

So very politely I pointed out my postiion as h/gun director-instructor at our club & that the 357 Mag used the same size bullet tip of a 38 Special being .357" which was smaller then the diameter of many ball point pens & that most people's pinky finger could NOT get through a target hole of a 38 or 357 without tearing the paper away.

So you can see how bias they & NO she would not print my letter & would not come to visit our range even though we would give her a lift to the range & back again which was a total of just 12 miles from her city of Penticton.
