I'll be carrying concealed in KY and TN w/ a valid Ohio license. I know what the Ohio laws are, but can't find the specifics on the other two states about how they think you should carry in a vehicle. Anybody have a link I can check regarding their preferences?
Thanks

In KY, you can carry a loaded gun anywhere in your car if you have a valid concealed carry permit. You can even carry a loaded gun in your glovebox without a permit and it's not considered concealed. Unloaded guns may be carried elsewhere in the car without a permit.

There is no "duty to inform" an officer in KY that you're carrying either.

In KY with a permit you can carry about anything any way you want in a vehicle. TN is a different story. Since you didn't say what you will be carrying, keep in mind that TN doesn't allow a chambered round in a rifle. Also TN doesn't allow knives with blades over four inches or switchblades.

If TN recognizes your Ohio permit you are good to go on carry in your vehicle. In KY you can carry in your glove box with or without a permit or open carry if you choose.

If TN does not recognize your permit I would think you have to have it unloaded and locked in your trunk as TN does not have a provision for car carry without a permit, best I remember.
