I think I can do this, but I wanted to make sure before I dropped the cash on it.

I have a Lyman GPR .54 caliber with slow twist. Is it possible to drop in the .50 caliber Lyman GPR barrel with the 1-32" twist without any other modifications? Reason being, there are a few more bullet choices in .50 caliber than .54.

I would recommend measuring the barrel widths and see if there is a difference before buying a .50 cal. A .54 cal. might be wider and a .50 would not just drop it

I'm guessing that they are standardized barrels. The Cabela's .50 Hawken recently posted below also has a .58 barrel included with it which like the Lyman is also Investarms made. They just make the bore a larger diameter. Their prices really don't justify making barrel channels with different dimensions, at least not among the same model.
