I'm looking to rebuild a Garand and wanted to be guaranteed a good receiver (no pitting, great condition, etc).
From what I understand rack or service grade CMP Garands do not guarantee receiver condition, but the CMP stripped barrelled receivers have been reparkerized.
Has anyone ordered one of these before? So how is the condition of these reparkerized receivers?
