Colt BCG on big pin gun question

Ok so I have a 6520 thats an old big pin gun. Its got a bolt carrier that in missing the bottom of the rear. I have heard on the older Colts that they did some stuff to keep it from being able to convert to auto. So my question is, can I put a normal bolt carrier in the rifle? I cant see anything that would stop it. Thanks.

Nope you can use any bolt carrier you want to in that rifle.
