Going on my 2nd SmartCarry.

The area at the end of the muzzle experiences the most wear, so Charlie said to put some duct tape on it.

I used rock'n'roll gaffers tape, and it's worked just fine for going on a couple years now, IIRC.

When I wear this one out, I will definitely buy another.

For those that don't know:
1. It does NOT point at your privates.
2. Drawing takes about 3 seconds...a tradeoff for deep concealment
3. The "Small" size fits a D frame perfectly.

I sometimes use a Smartcarry too, when wearing sweatshorts/ gymshorts; with a untucked t-shirt, I can easily conceal a Glock 27 or 36 plus a spare magazine wearing light clothing.

I love my SmartCarrys, been using one daily now for about 5 years.

They are one of the most versatile holsters I use.

I too wear mine with anything that don't require a belt.

I seem to wear mine more in the winter? I have noticed shorter guns carry better. My Glock 26 carries better than my 3913 I find the height causes more printing than width. I used one for a long time when I had to tuck my shirt at work. It doesnt seem to add time to the draw. I can slide my hand around the rim of my pants and present a firearm quite quickly.

It certainly conceals well, but for me, Smart Carry is not so accessible or comfortable

I own two, and use them only occasionally, but (IMHO) it is a valuable addition to your CCW reportoire...

Is it a cell phone? Smart carry doesn't print or bulge in the pocket area, and carries high enough it doesn't poke out like some joke about.

When people don't understand something, or fear it, they make fun of it.

I use a small soft cotton cloth that is folded up into about a 1" square pad placed on the bottom of the holster so the tip of your barrel rests on it. Your holster will last longer and need less duct tape. Works well with my G26.
