Since we have now gotten into brand names...The Ruger SP101 .357, 2 1/4", spurless is IMHO, the best made, quality revolver on the market today, able to continuously handle full-house .357 loads with ease...and it has NO internal trigger lock...which is one less thing to malfunction.

STOPPING POWER

stopping power is a silly point. first, its a huge variable, people have discussed a .22 STOPPING people. Secondly, that has to be weighed with accuracy and if you will CARRY the thing ( im sure i would carry a .22 all day everyday even in my sleep rather than a .45 ) Size is important! you cant carry a big azz gun everywhere all day everyday.... or you can, but how comfortable is it in concealment?

jericho 941

I can highly recomend the baby desert eagle i´ve had it for 4 years during my service in IDF. it never once failed on me and it´s well known for it´s releability and quality. you have a wide range to choose from and in it´s pricerange it can´t be beat. there is a reason they equip the IDF with it.
go to your dealer and feel it and you´ll know what i´m talking about.

check this article on it by RK.Campbell

HK P-2000SK or SIGarms DAK P-239 in .357SIG

I'd look into a HK P-2000SK or maybe a SIGarms P-239 DAK model in .357sig.

With the SIG you can also get a CT lasergrip; www.crimsontrace.com .

Look into these fine handguns
