I'm looking to make a couple of holsters for the 8 3/8 inch 500. One style I saw in a holster book (lousy pictures) showed a "Fury Leather" holding a Contender upsidedown with the barrel in front of the shoulder. Can anyone show some pics of something like it that works for them?
The second style is as an enormous paddle holster with five belt slots. These allow high ride, forward cant, and backward cant (for cross draw I would suppose) on a large belt. To this style, I would like to add a full flap. This is intended for in the woods carry, no scope, grizz defense.
Any holster makers care to share ideas or thoughts?
