Custom recessed sling mounts

Does anyone know where you can buy recessed sling mounts? I remember seeing a site selling high quality sling mounts for wood stocks - you had to cut quite a hole in the stock but the photos they had looked very pro, by far the nicest sling mounts I've seen.

I've been trying for ages to find the site but I can't even find reference to that type of sling mount anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know what I mean? The site was very 'glossy', they also sold custom bolt handles, alkanet root and other high grade custom gunsmithing supplies.

They are not the ones in brownells the pachmayr ones. The ones I'm thinking of are bigger - they are the whole mount in one solid piece of steel. They have a little well and a bar going across it to hold the sling...

your probably thinking of inletted sling swivels and it sounds like your talking about duane wiebe's site custom gun and rifle
the swivel bases are available through brownells and midway, i've used wiebe's bottom metal and bolt handles on a few builds, not cheap but first class in every way.
