Does anyone have any expierence with this gun?? I have someone who wants to do some trading and this is what he offered

CZ American 452 .17hmr
Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 scope
and 4 magazines.

Ive done a little research on them and havent found anything to bad but wanted to hear first hand what people thought of them.

If its a 452, it will be good.

If you can work out a good deal, go for it.

I don't have a hmr, but have 5 other 452's and they are all good.

CZ rimfires, especially 452/453's are great little rifles and have a well earned reputation for shooting very good. You won't be disapointed.

CZ rimfires (especially the 452) are superb shooters capable of very nice accuracy. If I didn't already own one I'd think hard about picking one up seeing as they are no longer made and most owners (me included) arent really interested in selling them. With that being said it's not like there's anything wrong with the 455s they're just different.

The 4 mags are worth $100 to $125, depending if they're synthetic or metal. The metal mags are excellent. The synthetic always make me worry the feed lips will break. The one example I have hasn't though. Just saying. By the way, my experience is with the 22LR. I'm assuming the "mag length" mags are the same quality as th 22LR mags (I've never heard anyone say otherwise).

I have the 452 in a 22lr it is by far my best 22 and I own several. I also have the 453 in a 17 Hmr and is a great rifle I used it on prairie dogs a couple of weeks ago and could not believe how accurate and deadly it was. I have always used 22 centefires before but now am convinced with this sweet little rifle.

Well I made the trade and all I can say is WOW!!!!! The CZ is just a great shooting gun and you guys were right about the .17 awesome little round.

Extremely happy with the trade. Thanks everyone

I have a CZ452 American in .17HMR with a Leupold rimfire scope on top. I use it for turkey, groundhogs and feral dogs. It's super accurate and good medicine!

Be sure to pick up the yodave trigger kit. I put one in my 452 and it's awesome. It's easy to install, just make sure you don't use too light of a spring.
