Cz P01 Vs Pcr

in the first photo, it appears that the PCR has some kind of chambered round indicator and the P-01 doesnt. In the 3rd photo, it appears that the p-01 has a recessed button (not sure what this does) The same button for the PCR seems to pretrude from the side of the gun? I am guessing this isnt a big deal?

What about a CZ 75 D Compact 9x19 model. Shape of a P01, but it says it's a 75D compact...

Anyone seen/heard of it?

Edit- in my research I learned these were imported from Europe last year to meet the spike in demand for firearms.

It's the same gun. Look and the pictures above and read the slides. I believe that Top Gun Supply sold a bunch of "P-01's" with these markings as they were from Europe. Both my P-01 and PCR are marked the same. Buy it.

If I could only have 1 CZ it would be the PCR, I do own only 1 CZ and it is the PCR. I do like the loaded chamber indicator and sights, but I would have bought the P01 if they did not have a PCR. Really glad I have the CZ 75D PCR, it is my daily carry pistol, good enough to trust, not good enough to want another CZ pistol.

I have a PCR that is my everyday carry gun. I really like it. I also have a mint 1980's Tanfoglio TZ-75 full sized clone. I will probably buy another Tanfoglio/EAA or CZ in .40 or .45 for range use. The CZ design is definitely my favorite design to shoot. There are other guns ( Berettas 84 and Browning BDA or Beretta 92 ) that I find to be sexier in appearance, but none so far that I prefer in my hand doing business.

Anybody own both? If so are the basically the same gun except the rail

I do own and shoot both and find little difference between them. However, having written that, I opt to carry the PCR as my EDC weapon because I find the rail on the P-01 to be a bit bulky for my taste.

Both are quality pieces.
