Struck out today despite 3 million people attending.(Not actually-but lots of people there.If you are not familiar with this show,it's held twice a year and hugely attended.One of the largest in the country as I understand.)
Was looking for;
Makarov
Buckmark or Ruger 22 pistol
Marlin Camp Carbine
AR (possibly).

Made 3 offers-all refused.
Ruger stainless 6" stainless slabside 22 Offered $275-His bottom line was $300
Browning Hi Power with adjustable sights,two mags-perfect with no box-older version.Offered $400-he stuckat $425.
S&W Model 60-3 (3" adjustable sight ,stainless ,jframe 357 mag)
offered $275- he was stuck at $300.
Also saw Bushnell scoped Remington Mohawk 243 for $400,and a litany of High end Kimbers and Colts,none of which were selling.

Still looking for a reasonably priced Bulgy Mak,22 pistol or auto rifle locally.(DFW)
Ar15's were priced from $550 to $2100-NOBODY seems to know what they are worth right now and ran into 2 guys who had already secured flash-hiders and collapsible stocks to post ban guns.Woe to you if you have not sold your pre ban Colts.Saw a Colt lightweight sporter with thin barrel at
$850.Would have been $600-700 higher 6 months ago.
Better Luck to the rest of the locals.

Sounds like all of those guys went to the same "25-dollars-higher-than-the-lowest-offer-and-pretend-you-can't-go-any-lower" school of negotiating.

Always interesting to see the stuff there, like $5000+ shotguns:what: Prices on seem to have risen a bit over the past 6 months (MRE's are now $5)
