375 texascarl? What optics are you going to put on it?

No 375 - I left 'em all for you fellows. Probably going to put a Weaver K on this little .243. I have more coyotes than elephants here on my section of the prairie.

Any suggestions on a good optic for the .375 H&H. I was thinking either a 1-4x or a 3-9X.

I examined a Model 799 in 7.62 X 39 at Cabela's when they were on sale and I walked away from it.
But then I already own several other bolt guns in that caliber anyway.
I thought that the stock was ergonomic but that was about it.
I didn't like the safety lever or the action.

I'm happy with the ones that I have but it's always nice to see what's available besides the CZ bolt action 7.62 X 39.

I love the Remington 798 laminated stock. It works great on my M98 conversions. I would definitely like to have a Model 799 in 7.62x39.
