I was just curious about what others thought. It is becoming harder and harder to find places to safely fire high powered rifles and I can see how tools like that have some appeal to hunters. I don't really hunt any more. Age and health have taken their toll. I still love to shoot anything that twangs and bangs and my family still hunts so I'm plugged in to the community. I just wonder if the same folks who are good with this air rifle for medium game would be ok with using a 38 because ballistically thats what it is.

I have killed stuff bigger and tougher than deer with the .22lr. So I know it doesn’t take a lot of power to kill things. That said, I have never killed a deer too dead with the stuff I use on them that is much more powerful.

No magnums here. At the range at least once a week. Shoot what you like and like what you shoot. Are you gonna make a 200 yard shot with that air rifle?
