I haven't confirmed this with TJ, but I would think he'd prefer cash, or a check (where's the risk, if you're a SWAT officer taking a local check? ). We'll probably be meeting outside at the range, so I would think he'd rather have paper, not plastic.
Remember, our breakroom has also been known as a gun locker too!
Seriously though, I am cash challenged....I use my debit card for everything!!! I really should carry cash more often, I think it would help make the gun embezzlement funt grow quicker! Is that what you do?
Still waiting for the tips. I guess we will have to talk via another means since apparently "somebody" has not been married long enough to know about "the fund"
Hey folks: Just a reminder from TJ Pilling on what to bring.
Everyone will need the usual eye and ear protection and a hat would help with the flying brass. 9:00 am is a good start time for the class and we could handle 15-20 if you have that many. You can make the check out to Tiger Valley. Ammo consumption should be in the neighborhood of 250-300 rounds. I'm a firm believer that to learn you have to do, so my round counts tend to be on the high side. Let everyone know to bring spare magazines and be sure to have holster and magazine pouches. Look forward to seeing everyone T.J.
To that, I would add that you can't go wrong by bringing along some bottles of water. Alduro, don't feel pressured to stop at your favorite donut place for us!
