Although I have not paid yet, I will be there. I am horrible with carrying any cash, can we use debit/credit cards to pay...anyone know? Geegee???

I haven't confirmed this with TJ, but I would think he'd prefer cash, or a check (where's the risk, if you're a SWAT officer taking a local check? :what: ). We'll probably be meeting outside at the range, so I would think he'd rather have paper, not plastic.

And heck yeah, I'm in! geegee

Techbrute: Very funny..........!!!!

Remember, our breakroom has also been known as a gun locker too!

Seriously though, I am cash challenged....I use my debit card for everything!!! I really should carry cash more often, I think it would help make the gun embezzlement funt grow quicker! Is that what you do?

I have several methods of embezzling gun money from my wife. I don't limit myself to a single method. :D

I am new to this board and would be intrested in shooting with you guys.
Do you usually shoot on Sundays? an easy day for me to escape the house.

Thanks

Welcome to the board.

As you can see from this thread, we've got two events this Sunday. A handgun training and a fun shoot.

Feel free to check out our Yahoo group. The link is in my sig line.

"Techbrute....I need some tips on this...we really need to talk!"

Techbrute, I have forwarded the above information to your wife, she would like to talk to you now.

Techbrute:

Still waiting for the tips. I guess we will have to talk via another means since apparently "somebody" has not been married long enough to know about "the fund"

Haha :neener:

Hey, don't you two be so quick to give him all the best tricks and subterfuge it takes most of us years to master. ;)

Hey folks: Just a reminder from TJ Pilling on what to bring.

Everyone will need the usual eye and ear protection and a hat would help with the flying brass. 9:00 am is a good start time for the class and we could handle 15-20 if you have that many. You can make the check out to Tiger Valley. Ammo consumption should be in the neighborhood of 250-300 rounds. I'm a firm believer that to learn you have to do, so my round counts tend to be on the high side. Let everyone know to bring spare magazines and be sure to have holster and magazine pouches. Look forward to seeing everyone T.J.

To that, I would add that you can't go wrong by bringing along some bottles of water. Alduro, don't feel pressured to stop at your favorite donut place for us! :neener:

I think 8:45 am is good, but not later. If you haven't already paid, have a check made out for $35.00 to TIGER Valley, or have some cash.

Alduro-don't worry about the powdered sugar on your face. If TJ is there, he's LEO too! :p

It was a great class, and I'm eager to get more instruction like that - I have a lot to learn!

And BTW does anybody know of a range that's open on Memorial Day? All my usual haunts seem to be closed. Thanks,
