Double Barrel "Coach Gun" Type Shotguns...What's Available??

Hey all,

I wonder if you all could post some links or mention some brands or makers of double barrel shotguns that are "coah gun" length? My dad is wanting one and this last weekend we were able to check out a Stoeger which was a really nice shotgun. I would just like to see what else is available before I decide on a particular brand or model.

Hammers or no hammers, I'm not picky right now. Since he most likely won't be shooting any Cowboy Action matches, are there any that have auto ejectors? Didn't Remington have a double that they sold at one time not too long ago?

Are there any you can recommend or advise against?

Remington did have a model called the Spartan not to long ago. It was imported from Russia I think, I know it was imported though. They were in the $400-500 new at the gun shows in Indiana. I just looked on Remington's official website and they are still there, but no price is listed.

Don't forget Stoeger's. They're very popular with the SASS/Cowboy Action folks. MSRP is under $500.
