What gives? I do not know how many out there love CZ clones, but recent searches for a new handgun have put my head into a spin. Can anyone give me good information on all these polymer CZ type handguns? Which is best to buy for the money? Why is there a big price difference (over $100 online difference)?

Let me see if I can get this straight:
-EAA imports pistols known as the Witness series which is manufactured by Italian Tangfolio.
-EAA imports pistols known as the Sar series which is manufactured by Turkish Sarsilmaz.
-EAA supplies Tangfolio sourced parts kits to Phillipine Armscor to make the MAPP series of pistols.

Are all these pistols Tangfolio sourced? How much are the parts interchangeable? Are some a good buy, and others not? Should I just look for a good CZ like the p-07 or CZ75 instead? Any input is appreciated!!

EAA does not import the SAR pistols now. Another company down the road from them in Florida imports the SAR pistols. I have the SAR B6 in 9mm which is produced in Turkey and for $299 it is a very good gun in all respects. It is a close copy of the CZ 75 pistol. I also have an older CZ 75 that I bought many years ago but do not see much difference in performance of either.
