Does anyone know where I can find a leather holster maker in texas around austin to be exact. Do any of yall make holsters. Looking for a owb with a clip or belt loops for the taurus 800 series. Thanks guys.

There's a whole mess of holster makers listed here: http://www.alumbankweb.com/cc-riglinks.php

Several are in Texas but you'll have to dig through the links to find exactly whom/what you're looking for.

I believe Tucker, Comptac, El Paso Saddlery and DM Bullard are Texans ... there's others but I don't know for sure off the top of my head which ones they are.

I'm a big fan of Kirkpatrick leather, had several holsters made by them. Very high quality work, excellent feel. I think that they are in Laredo, which is about 200 miles away.

I emailed kirkpatrick leather lastnight just waiting for a reply. Thank for the list of websites. I will go through there tonight and hopefully someone can help me.

I have emailed adamsleatherworks. Unfortunately he cant do it for me since he doesnt have the gun. He did however offer to give me some pointers on how to make my own. He was a very nice guy and If I ever get a pistol he can do anything with I will use him.

Hey LuckyShot,

Give this guy a try...

www.dragonleatherworks.com

I had one of each of their offerings made for a Glock 19. The fellow seems to be rather knowledgeable in different guns and frame styles. His leather work is good and solid. Nothing fancy with hand tooled flowers or anything...just a good solid holster at a reasonable price for something thats handmade in the USA and all leather (no plastic or Kydex anywhere).

Thanks siberious but I think I'm looking for something maybe a little fancier than that. Thank you for your sugesstion though. Anyone one else thank of anything?

Texas Leather

"I believe Tucker...are Texans"

We're from Texas (north of Houston, to be exact) and we can do fancy, but we don't have anything for the Taurus 800 Series at this time. Tucker's going to check out the gun and see if it's something for which we'd like to tool.
