Is it legal to hunt with a semi-auto pistol for hogs in Florida?

I've been reading the regs but I can't find the "IF YOU HUNT WITH SEMI AUTOMATIC WEAPONS WE'LL SEND YOU TO A SPECIAL KIND OF HELL!" statement like Pennsylvania has.

it is legal

it is legal to hunt with a semiauto in Florida ! Some of the guided hunts frown on autos and will allow them but limit the shooter to no rounds in the chamber until it is time to shoot ! they have had too many close calls when mounting and dismounting from buggies or approaching a hog being held at bay ! Best to talk to the people who are organizing the hunt you are participating in ! i am assuming you are planning to hunt private land since Big game season is over ! Kevin

Some of the wildlife mgt. areas allow hogs to be taken during small game season. Osceola and Ocala come to mind as well as Guana. No restrictions on pistol use that I can find. Just no centerfire rifles (darn).

Thankfully.
