Just got back form a fast road trip to an from Fla.
First was damnthere is this huge bill board after crossing into Florida on 75 states.. Visitors Warning, Floridians can shoot first, I wish I had a camera... but i did qucikly notice the bottom sponsor Brady Campaign. cant remeber all the wording, ouch well thats not to friendly of a welcome to Florida.....I thought it be better if someone would graffitti it an cross out Visitors and paint Criminals ......

Then While waiting for a load to be offloaded by the airport I took a wak around Taft and left my gun in the truck, bad mistake, a small dark heavily tinted windowed car cruised an slowed down past me, I htought uh-oh... they kept on but I felt realllly uneasy.

Ok so I grab a paper, and on the front of the Monday Edition of the Orlando Sentinal was a artivel caught my intrests, heres a link...

Front page - Florida's new law on self-defense serves as model. The second line in the article give a quick pro an con---"Supporters call them "stand your ground" laws. Opponents call them "shoot first" laws." , they cited cases in which this law changed the outcome....FWIW you might wanna read it...

I've seen the Brady billboard over in my area too. I wanted to get a picture, but didn't have a camera and it's not really close enough to go driving back by just for a picture op. I can't find it on their (Brady) web site either, I was wanting to do a little work on it in Photo Shop.

Billy go for it. What ever you come up with I'm sure will be great!!;)

There was a thread on the Brady billboard using photo shop either here or on TFL earlier this year.

Violent crime is at one of it's all time lowest levels for the state.

I saw a program that interviewed inmates at Starke. They were more concerned with being shot by an armed citizen than of the police or a prison sentence.

I can't resist...

Even though I already posted this a few times, I just love the pic. The language comes from a warning to tourists to not "argue with locals unnecessarily..."

Why are there bubbles next to the Panhandle on the Brady billboard? Watching too many Matrix movies?

The most important thing... DID YOU BUY SOMETHING HERE!
We do not have any income tax down here and we like it that way. So we depend on tourist money to fill the coffers--we only shoot at the ones that tell us that is not the way they do things up North, or if they voted for the Hildabeast. Next time, make sure you buy something, and y'all come back now, ya hear!

:D

Hey, reminds me of our Restricted Area Signs around nuclear weapons facilities in SAC. "Use of Deadly Force is Authorized." Works for me.

I actually started the thread a while back for photshoping this Billboard. Here is the link. It has some pretty good ones.
