Front End View of 45 Colt in Action

Whats scarey to me is driveing down a 2 lane hwy doing 70 and meeting a Greyhound bus doing 70 ...much more damage than a 45 could ever inflect .
but I still drive and never complain .
When you clean a Colt 45 revolver ...how do you know you did a good job without looking down the muzzle ?

I went ahead and deleted my photo. It's kinda like if I know someone is deathly afraid of snakes, I'm not gonna throw a snake at them.

I think all Mykeal is saying is give a warning first. Instead of posting a direct img link where the photo or video pops up when the thread is opened, just post a website link. That way the reader can choose to open the link or not.

We're all different. I can't explain why I'm not afraid of snakes and some folks are. But I can respect that person's fear. I can't explain why some folks don't like the photos we're talking about, but from now on I can respect that feeling.

I think a person can be civil without being a pansy or a whiner.

Most folks don't have a problem with photos like I posted. A few folks find the photos somewhat uncomfortable. A very few folks, for whatever reason,
are very disturbed by the photos. I'm not a psychologist so I can't even pretend to understand why we are different, but we are. Just because I don't understand the differences doesn't mean I can't respect them.

Now that we know, and it's taken me twice to learn it, is it that much more trouble to post a web link as opposed to a direct img link?

A) I'd imaging firing a gun or being at a range would be worse.

B) Why the hell are you on a gun forum?

I cant get over the fact that this can be an issue. So let me see if i have this right cause i didn't get the chance to see this OMG photo. A picture was taken of a firearm firing at the camera it's self? And someone on a gun form spazzed out. If this is true I'm without words.

I think we're all compassionate here.....now if we were to post pics of guns in a gunshot victims forum....well, different story....but yes this is a firearms forum. I suppose we should hold back on pictures of lead balls too seeing how so many have suffered from lead poisoning and the pics would only be a horrific reminder.....
Then too, keep your range target pics off here too....somewhere there must be someone who got a paper cut, had a bad infection and lost a limb...let's not take chances...

Don't want to see it shot at me from the front end in real life but on camera its fine. Speaking of which, how many movies and TV shows show it from the front end half a dozen times a day.
