Everytime I look on youtube at glock's the first thing that comes up is full autos and airsoft junk. Back on topic, I watch some of the full auto videos and I thought you could not BUY NEW full autos after 86? or are these old glocks? some of them look new to me not very much used. Full auto glocks 30+ round magazines. Seams to be a lot of FULL AUTO glock videos:confused:

They're post samples. You as an individual cannot buy one, but I can buy one as a post sample with an LE letter or I can build one. Either way it never gets sold and destroyed when I turn in my SOT.

I'm not sure but I think I heard that there was a small number of the G18 produced befor the ban. I could be totally wrong it's just something I heard on a forum somewhere.
It's also very possible that they are illegal, I'm not condoning this at all, but I have seen quite a few people that have them. Most people are ignorant of the laws and then there are a few that don't care. I don't wish to be a guest of the State for 10 years though so I avoid those people.

This comes up a lot. There are ZERO civilian transferable Glock 18s in the US. Since 1968 it has been illegal to import a machinegun into the US for civilian use. The Glock 18, even if imported pre-1986, could not be owned by a civilian- unless you could go back in time to 1967 with one and register it.

That said, the Glock 18, was produced AFTER the 1986 ban. There may have been a couple Glock 17s converted to full-auto, but even that would be extremely rare. If there were, it would probably be something like fewer than 10.

What most people see are probably dealer samples.

There are civilian transferable Beretta 93s though, for those parties that are interested.

Considering the 93R was designed in the 70's, I'm pretty sure all the transferable "Beretta" 93R's are US-made clone receivers with 93R parts kits.

Though it couldn't be imported for civilian sales, it could probably be bought second hand from a police-agency alla .380 Glocks. So, if you had a pre-86 Beretta 93, bought by a police agency and then sold to a Class 3 dealer, the weapon could (presumably) be then sold to a civilian.

Edit: Ok, I looked it up. There are only converted Beretta 92s or Taurus clones. No factory 93s for civilians in the US either. :(

Get the proper FFL and SOT and build a new one. Here is one built from a G34.

Not all Youtube videos are of Americans. People all over the world post videos on Youtube.

Unfortunately, presamples can't ever be sold to the general public, even if they are first transfered to an LE agency and later resold.

I've often wondered if Jessie Abbate gets to hold onto the G18 I've seen her shoot. Even though it wouldn't technically be transferred into her ownership, she must have great authority with regard to keeping/using/possessing it.

Wow. That video was not terribly convincing. They probably shouldn't show the targets, or should find a more developed shooter to demonstrate.

Bonafide employees of SOTs can possess firearms registered to the SOT, as authorized by the SOT. She's employed by Glock.
