Anyboby have a clue as to how long it takes Glock to turn around warranty work?

I sent my 30 SF off two long, lonely weeks ago. With less than 150 rounds through it a slight barrel bulge shut it down. The slide wouldn't come back far enough to eject the round case and load another round. When I racked it by hand it would hang open. I could jar it loose with the palm of my hand to chamber the next round only to have ton repeat teh whole process over again.

Ain't nary never sent so sech as that before! :banghead::cuss::banghead::cuss::banghead:

Understand first that I have no personal experience with Glock warranty service.

That said, I've heard that they are not so great, preferring to blame any other possible outside factor on a malfunction. If that's the case, I don't expect turn-around to be very good.

I wonder why. Sig turned around in just a few days. And it's not like a Glock is a terribly complicated gun.

Smith is usually considered to be the best, and their turn-around time is often 2-4 weeks. Longer if a holiday steps in.

I'd imagine Glock's time is 3-6 weeks. That's still not too bad.

Due to the low numbers of Glocks sent in for repair, their service department is rather small :D
