Hello all!

I've got a whole bunch of handgun loads around here, .38 specials and .357 magnums mostly. I'd love to chronograph them to see what velocities I'm getting from my guns. '

Can anyone recommend me a reasonably affordable yet accurate chronograph? I don't know much about them.

Thanks so much!! :)

I like my Shooting Chrony Alpha Master Chronograph quite well. The remote display is quite convenient. It cost me ~$100 on Amazon, with an opened and returned discount.

I'm quite happy with my Caldwells. I got the kit with the IR lights. I'm developing loads and following recipes and such like what I read here on THR. It's going well but they all go bang and put a hole in the paper. I want to know more than that. I think my kit was $130 ish.

I have a OLDER upgraded Chrony I am going to sell-- $65.00 SHIPPED w/case -- I am upgrading to one I can use with my i-phone, only reason for selling-- :)

I just bought a ProChrono Digital from amazon for Christmas. Price was about $98. They had an offer of a $30 gift card if I opened an Amazon credit card. I opened the Amazon credit card and Got it for $68.
It works perfectly and is all I will ever need.

I like my Caldwells just fine. At under $100 I won't cry when it takes a .38 Special to the screen.

Hell, it's already deflected one .380 off the top. Held up better than I expected!
