She went on the offensive, that's for sure. It's funny to see the big, bad guys run like chicken little the second someone confronts them. Most criminals are gutless and this shows the value of keeping a firearm handy.

She shot at them once they were outside of her house, fleeing.

I have no problem with that but do you think a misguided prosecutor would charge her?

<deleted speculative portion of comment in light of new information from jim in Anchorage>

Unless this had crossed over into extrajudicial killing territory, a court would have a time time convicting a woman defending herself against 3 home invaders.

It also shows the need for more than X number of shots. X being whatever number the liberal leaders have determined is safe for us to have.

I doubt there's a prosecutor in Gwinnett County, Georgia who would dare go ofter this gal. She's a hero.

Shoot, move, and communicate - that's what she's doing (not that 911 was much help in this case). There are 2 frames in this that really stand out to me. One is where the bad guy who escaped through the kitchen (to the left) hurls himself through a glass door in his bid for safety. The other frame comes after she fires her last shot, turns around and steps over a box and stands there with her gun calmly looking at her cell phone. What a woman!

That video where she is shooting out the open door is missing a few seconds. I saw a longer version where after firing the shots you see she opens the door fully, looks around and fires one more shot outside.
It's possible a prosecutor could make something of that.

That's what ought to happen in EVERY home invasion.

That's why anti-gun cultists want to disarm the potential victims, to protect the violent PERPETRATORS.

As for her shooting out the door, I haven't seen this with sound, nor are the perpetrators visible after they leave. There's no way to know if they were pointing their firearms at her. Not having heard sound (if there is any), I don't know if they were still shooting at her. Also, given that they were neither incapacitated nor did they surrender, it could be argued that, still armed, they were a deadly threat, having only moments before tried to murder her. ESPECIALLY in Georgia, she's probably going to get the benefit of the doubt.

I didn't go to this link but I saw a video of this incident the other day. You could see sheet rock dust/debris falling in the picture. The home invaders were shooting back as they fled & the dust/debris was falling from where the bullets were hitting the sheet rock.
