Today, Scheel's had WWB 9mm, and there was a pretty good quantity. They have had .40 and .45 on the shelf most of the time for the last few months, but 9mm has been hot and miss.

The pre-panic price for 100 round WWB was 26.99. Today's price was 29.99. Pre- panic .45acp was 46.99 and current price is 49.99. I really don't see a 3.00 increase per 100 rounds to be really out of line, considering the whole supply/demand thing.

Right before the panic, I was considering a Colt Defender .45acp. The price was 1099.00. When the panic started, they sold their whole stock of handguns in about ten days, and the Defender was out of stock for quite some time. When handguns started showing up again, they called me when they hand Defenders in stock again. The price was the same as before the panic hit.

A couple of the local gun stores have been right there in the forefront of the whole price gouging movement,. and have forfeited by business for this.

Scheel's has treated us fairly here, and I appreciate it.

Fella's;

There's also a Scheel's in Montana that I frequently shop. I also think that they do not try to gouge us on pricing.

My mom n pop gun shop didn't raise their prices one bit during the panic... heck, they sell the majority of their gunpowders for cheaper than powder valley and they are typically well stocked!

That other gun store is still charging $89.99 for a brick of 22 a friend told me... granted I haven't been there since February and don't intend to go back.
