It's not often that we in NJ have anything good to celebrate regarding gun laws...until yesterday. The "One Gun a Month" law was due to be voted on yesterday, but was pulled from the agenda at the last minute. Probably due to some successful lobbying by many NJ gun owners that finally said, ENOUGH. The following is some of the typical ranting that we have to put up with from our resident D-Bag. If it's true what he says about "out-of-staters," and I'm not sure how you could prove it, I say thank you all.

Your opportunity to help make New Jersey safer from illegal handgun violence

According to the NJ Legislature website (www.njleg.state.nj.us), S-1774, the One Handgun A Month bill, intended to severely diminish the flow of handguns from legal sale at NJ gun shops to illegal street sale, will be voted on by the full NJ Senate on Monday (12/15) afternoon. These are the handguns used to threaten, wound, maim and kill.

Believe it or not, the gun lobby is fighting S-1774, which passed the NJ Assembly with bipartisan support in June, tooth and nail, even though it will allow individuals to acquire up to 13 handguns per year. The gun lobby, seeking to protect the profits of the gun industry, ginned up hundreds of calls to the NJ Senate recently in opposition to S-1774. The vast bulk of these calls were from out-of-state.

Do you want the gun lobby, out-of-state pro-gunners and a tiny minority of NJ handgun owners to determine our public safety (or lack thereof)? If not, then take this opportunity and call your State Senator TODAY and tell her/him to vote for S-1774, for safety's sake. Please see below for further info and what to do.

Bryan Miller, isn't he that lunatic who berated the PA girl about carrying at a soccer game? His federal agent brother was killed in a police dept or something?

Nj

Just another "feel good "law that's being proposed "for the children". Man, I got to get out of this place.

Be glad you don't have such law. Somehow we had it passed in VA a long time ago and it's still around. SC had the law but got rid of it after seeing it didn't do ****.

I wish VA would get rid of it.
