Just wanted to share my Great Gun Weekend with everyone...
Started Sat. morning when my friend and THR member hm came by with his newly acquired SKS from SOG, to enlist my services in de-cosmoing it and showing him how to disassemble and maintain it.
A couple of mineral-spirit soaked hours later he had a clean gun (except for the stock, which I told him he could wrestle with on his own
)
Gun was very nice - much better looking than mine cosmetically.
I then spent the afternoon cleaning and oiling my guns (plus working on my hi-power
Then it was time for my buddy's bachelor party - Stage One of which was meeting at the shooting range and spending a couple of hours burning up lots and lots of ammo.
After that, it was on to various forms of debauchery until extremely late.
Then I got up Sunday and cleaned them all again.
A good weekend...
