If I had 5000 I would mount that in the bed of my truck. Dang I want one, or ten. (I really didn't mean for that to sound dirty)

That looks cool; however, the carry-handle in the sight-line? then you can't aim....so yeah, gun room decor.

well as a lawn ornament it should deter robbers.
could also come in handy aginst the zombie hordes. lol (sorry if your thread gets shut down because I said zombie lol)

Usually items like that show a robber that you have disposable income. Basically inviting them to start scoping your house...

looks cool but not really practical, so lawn ornament.

Depends on your definition of practical

The price of the gun isn't the problem. Its the price of ammo that will skyrocket after I buy everyone out of 7.62x54r!

How much fun would that be?! The first thing that popped into my head was backing up the handicap acces space at the range, wheeling that thing in place and not stopping until it goes click. I'm gonna have happy dreams.

If I had the money I get one to shoot as a range toy and for my dad to use for his WW2 renactments (150th Rifle Division RKKA)

Sure, the $4400 price tag is hefty, but in the long run it'll be cheaper than a semi-auto only 1919A4.

semi-auto only SG43 Guryunov + 21,750 rounds of 7.62x54mmR FMJ = approx $8750.
semi-auto only 1919A4 + tripod + 10,000 rounds of 7.62x51mm FMJ = approx $8750.

the carry handle pivots down so its not in the line of sight...as shown in one of the pics of that site.

I'd be giggling like a schoolgirl with one of those CrankFireSystems things on there. I think my huge stash of 54R would be in grave danger from one of those.

Looks like just the thing for shooting plates too. With that armor on there, you don't have to worry about splash back.

I gotta wonder how they ship it? I don't think the UPS guy would be too happy the day I got that thing.
