Happy New Year! What will you buy this year?

A Glock 20 SF is something I've been wanting for a while.
I also want a compact handgun for concealed carry. Maybe a Smith airweight or something along those lines. I'm open for pretty much anything that's comfortable to conceal. I'll be in school a while longer however, so both of them may not happen this year. We'll see.

Pretty well got the handgun stable full enough for me so my purchases will be some accessories, reloading supplies and ammo for the AR.

Second, but much further down on the list, is a BP replica, some kind of open top.

The only guns I've committed myself to buy this year are a Glock 20 and a Commander-sized 1911. I want the Glock for messing around with 10mm, and who doesn't want a nice Commander in their collection?

After a run-in with a defective gun that was brand-new, I'm cooling my jets for awhile. Kinda leaves a bad taste in your mouth.


If the new Ruger SP-101 in .22 comes down to about $450 or so (of course less is better), I'd be all over that. But I can wait more than a year if I need to.

A guy I bought my K38 from has an 70's vintage Mod 29 S&W (8 3/8"). I feel lucky.

For me it's a Springfield MilSpec 1911.

Yeah, if you don't have a 1911, you do need one. Lots of choices. I have a Colt Series 70 Reissue. Has proved very reliable. My only gripe is that the bluing has been severely damaged by carrying in a Kydex holster. You might want to think about the finish on your proposed purchase if cosmetics matter to you. As well as reliability if you want to use it as a SD weapon. Sometimes, you might want to pass up a few cheap handgun buys in order to buy something really special. In my case, I would probably in retrospect not have bought several of my other handguns and put the money instead into a Wilson 1911.

I will be purchasing an AK 47, I've been wanting one for quite sometime now and it will be my next gun buy. I'm also considering a Ruger SR9c and a tactical 12 gauge shotgun, possibly a Savage Arms 350.

I'd like to get either a Ruger New Blackhawk SAA .357 4.62 inch barrel in stainless steel or a Ruger GP 100 4 inch barrel in stainless steel.
