just wondering if anyone could help me by telling me what kind of revolver i have, how old it is, and what is the value of it.

I know nothing about guns this one was past down to me....

I do not have any pictures of it at the moment but if need be i can add some.

on top of the gun the following is written:

" Harrington & Richardson arms company Worcester. MASS. U.S.A.
PAT OCT 4: B7 MAY 14 & AUG, 89, APRIL 2 : 95, APRIL 7. 1898."

and when i opened the revolver inside i saw a serial number " D15435"

also this is a 6 shot.

I hope this is enough info....

I moved your frst post on THR out from someone else's thread so it will get quicker response and viewing on the forum. In the future, when asking about a firearm other than the one another member's thread is referencing, please begin a new thread. You will get a better response.

Hope this helps you get the answer you seek.

We'd really need more information and/or pictures to be able to tell you what it is, and what it's worth depends both on what model it is and what condition it's in. How does the revolver open up? What calibre is it chambered for? How long is the barrel? Are there any other markings on the sides of the barrel?
