Has anyone used any High Noon Holsters for the 1911. I have a Gov 5" that I have to learn to conceal. I have used a High Noon Split Decision for a Glock 26 in the past and was impressed with the results.

Any experiences, likes or dislikes??

I'm bringing this one back from the dead. I have the same question and kinda feel bad nobody gave Evenflo76 an answer.

CZF, you've covered quite a few High Noon holsters in your writings, do you have a recommendation for a 5" 1911 (I do understand you are a CZofile and not a 1911ite).

I'm primarily looking for an OWB holster and my three primary considerations are the Slide Guard, Topless, and The Need for Speed.

My guess is the Slide Guard and Topless (basically the same holster except for the "flab tab") would carry the pistol a little closer to the body than the Need for Speed, while the Need for Speed would be a little easier to draw and reholster. Are those fair assumptions?

Does one hold the pistol higher than the other? Do both designs hold the pistol with equal security?

IF i ever get another 1911. The Need For Speed, would be the holster.[

I've tried pancakes with the 75B and full-sized 1911s.

Rather have the NFS like I use with my RAMI.
