I'm considering getting a ptr91.. how bad does it beat up the brass? Is it reloadable?

mine kills the brass half of them have dented necks you can get a port buffer for it though

You ar lucky they returned it. I went to pick up my stolen MINT all matching dot 45 and the property room guy had it on the counter grinding off the receiver ring and the eagles on the matching stock destroying my valuable vet gun. Why? He looked me in the eye and said, 'Cuz he can.' What a dick.

The Cetme I posted earlier turned out to be a complete piece of crap. It wouldn't cycle at all, after every round it would fte. I returned it to the store and they gave me a refund on it. So the Cetme is gone and done with, I will never buy another.

I did however buy one of the C93 Sporters and so far after about 800 rounds it has performed extremely well. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=447749&highlight=c93

has anyone tried the 20" fluted barrel on thier PTR?

I'm contemplating getting one in the near future

I am also curious about that 20" barrel. Would you need a gunsmith to install it properly?

^I can't find anything on how to remove the barrels will talk to a guy who works on HKs and find out what can be done hopefully within the week

it looks like you need a press to remove it though so not so easy lol
