Have been leaning toward HK but held a Kimber Solo today & loved it...looking for your input, thanks!

Aside from the HK4, every commercially available HK handgun is available chambered in 9mmx19. More specific info on models you are considering might help get the responses you seek.

I have seen enough Solo lemon stories to form the opinion that it isn't ready for prime time yet. If you really want one, give it a year to work out more bugs.

Any and all HKs are made well and will work 100%

Do a search entitled "Kimber Solo". The information you get might go a long way in terms of which of the two pistols you decide to spend your well-earned money on.

I would lean heavily towards any hk over any kimber product, including the solo. That is if you are looking for the most reliable pistol.

Just got back from LGS after ordering the HK P2000SK, feel it's best fit for me being as it's my first handgun & I'm a lefty...thanks to all for your input. Not giving up on the Kimber Solo, maybe it"ll be handgun #2 at some point!

Congratulations on your new purchase, you're going to LOVE that gun! (Make sure you get yourself a X-Grip as well, so you can use full size P2000 mags in your SK.) Happy shooting!

I love my Kimber 1911 but if getting a 9mm I would definitely take the HK- congrats on a creat pistol.

mind me asking what you paid for your P2000sk? I'm in the market as well......

LGS uses 5 distributors, of the 5, there was one that had just one available, I paid $895 & left extremely happy! Another shop could get me one at same price but would have been at least 2 months before it came in. Sometimes you just have to take the step, maybe paid a little more than I should have but that's okay...it's my first handgun & I can't wait to pick it up this Friday, 1/06.
