I am getting some ammunition to break in my Sig Mosquito at the range, and was wondering if the hollow points on the CCI Mini Mag bullets would punch neater holes than those of the round nose CCI Mini Mags.

holes are holes man. ive shot both, holes look the same. if you really wanted neat holes, i'd take a jewelers file and file the ends totaly flat. however, they will only work well from a revolver. since you want to shoot them from a semiauto, the flattened tips wouldnt allow the rounds to feed.

My advice on breaking in that Mosquito is: Make sure that the "white" recoil spring is in it, use Mini-Mags for the first 500 rounds, and then you can switch over to Wally Worlds Federal Bulk pack.

I have a case of mini-mags and they seem to have a wax coating on them... It seems to cause my sig mosquito to not chamber the .22, hopefully you get a good batch of CCI Mini-Mags.

Is hollow point versus round nose "really" going to make a difference on paper targets.????
Find a round that will work with your gun and use that. I was told here on the internet that subsonics will jam the Mosquito like nobody's buisness. Mine has had no problems with the Remington Subsonics. Someone else's gun may choke on them.
