How many guys

I just load for myself and my brother, less liability that way. I've reloaded for a buddy once, he'd shot some, then traded the gun and gave the guy the cartridges too,end of that deal. Another guy asked me if I reloaded, I told him yes, the he asked if I'd reload some Win. .375 cartridges for him. He said if I'd load him 5 boxes of them, and they shot alright, he'd pay me for them........ I think he's still on that hike I told him to take!

I'm pretty good, but I'm not perfect. I don't load for others. Occasionally I'll let someone shoot one of my milsurps at a range, even if I'm using my loads, but only after I've fired a few.

My nephew (17) likes to come to the range with me.
So we usually go once a month or so.

But no one else in the family shoots with me,
so no one else gets to shoot my reloads.

If any one ever asked, I'd be more than willing to
show 'em how to reload.

I'm guilty of loading for family members and a couple of friends. But that was years ago and a one time deal until they got their own presses.

I bring new people out to the range quite a bit, and as a friendly gesture I provide the ammo. Whether or not I end up getting paid for it is no big deal to me. But I also don't take a single person often, so I never feel anyone is leaching off me.

So friends and family do shoot my reloads, but only in my presence. I have only given away one box of reloaded ammo to a more experienced friend, but that is generally not the norm.

My wife and I load for each other...whoever has more time.

Since doing this I've had a couple friends reload me their "special recipe" and "gift" them to me...they sit in a closet....

I'll shoot my wife's co-worker's reloads without hesitation...well the first shot without hesitation...he's on THR

I've reloaded for my father...sort of a desperate move to cover for the fact that I didn't have birthday/father's day gifts. I made sure to use a powder check/lockout die and made them VERY mild loads (about 650 FPS). Other than that, if you shoot my reloads, it's because you're at the range with me.

I've given a box or two to family or friends, with the instruction to "pick up the brass when you're done, and any other brass you can get, too"

Liability be damned. If it's good enough for my gun, it's good enough for any gun. If you don't like that, then don't shoot it.

I have friends all the time ask me to reload for them, but they don`t understand the cost of equipment and supplies plus my time, they can do just as well buying from a professional reloader at a gun show, plus I don`t want any of my mistakes to hurt someone. The only people who have shot my reloads are my brother in laws from out of state, when they come to visit during the holidays, we have "guys at the range day" while the girls go shopping.

I load for any friend and family member. They buy the components and if I need a set of dies to do their rounds, they buy them, and I get to keep them. The return the favor in other ways. One took my oldest out hunting last deer season as I was here and couldn't. Others have helped my wife out while I was away. just things like that. Of course, my girls just have to be good, help me out, and use their allowance for theirs if they want some special bullet or such. My oldest will be doing her own this year when I get back.

No other shooters than myself in the family.
Just as I will not shoot anyone else's loads no-one else should expect to shoot mine.

Don't load for anyone but myself. If a family member wants to learn reloading I am pretty patient and am a great teacher and would teach them the art. Other than that, no one else will ever touch my reloading equipment unless I die.

Wow. This is not an area that I have gone into yet. This is all a liability issue? No matter how cautious and exact reloading one by one. I should have my best friend come over and throw the handle if he wants some loaded? Or am I one of those people who is willing to wave the liability issue because of my confidence. I think maybe this early in my carear of reloading( 2 weeks) it would behoove me to have another set of eyes, no liability and a couple dies for free. Never thought of all this. Good thread. Good information.

My son uses my equipment and loads for himself. I do reload for my brother-in-law, I only charge him for the components.

I load for my girlfriend and my best friend, both of which help me load from time to time. Seems I buy all of the components, but Ive heard rumors of a new press coming around my birthday :D
