Well, let's see here....
You definitely do not want a Ruger 10/22, because you will spend WAY too much money and time customizing it the way YOU want it to be.....
A Marlin 60 is certainly a bad choice, since they are so accurate that you will want to plink with it all the time and need lots of boxes of rounds. They don't jam, so you will shoot those rounds so fast that the "click" will cause the corners of your mouth to droop.
SKS? Why-oh-Why would you want one of them things. Don't you know that they throw spent brass (steel shell casings) ALL OVER the place? I must have several hundred of those spent cases laying around in the tall grass of my range. NOPE! Way too messy for you! Pass.....:banghead:
Mauser M48....Old milsurp.....Nope....too much cosmoline.....Nope nope no.
Swiss K-31: You do not want one of these either....trust me..... The bolt is way too smooth, they are too accurate for an old gun, and besides....the Swiss are known for CHOCOLATE - not rifles.
M1 Garand: Too much character. One of the finest battle weapons ever developed. Naaah. Sorry, you don't need one of those either.
AK 47: Stay away from those! They multiply in your safe! They seem to breed variations....like Russian, Chinese....And, they have a voracious appetite for ammo! (NailGun shakes head...sighs....) Nope, not for you.
Mosin Nagant 91/30. Ok, I suppose you could get one of those. Or Two of those. One for each year, each variation...Don't forget the M39, or the M44, since they are basically the same....but different.
You DON'T want to buy them ALL AT ONCE! Buy one and spend some quality time with it. Bond with it. Then, hide it in the safe and go looking for #2, and repeat the above instructions. Do this until ALL UNITS have been procured.
Enjoy your addiction.....NailGun.
