I've been looking for a replacement to my GSG 1911 22 that I gave to my son. I haven't found one in two years until I checked the Sportsman's Warehouse website.

They had the Colt 1911 22 made by Walther. There were three models, the Government, Rail and Gold Cup Trophy. The only one that was listed as being available was the Government. After thinking it over for a few days I decided to pull the trigger and ordered one.

To my surprise, when I went to the store to pick it up there was a Gold Cup Trophy in the box. Main difference is the adjustable front and rear sights, beavertail grip safety, commander hammer and Pachmeyer grips.

It feels great, better than my GSG. Hopefully I'll get to shoot it Wednesday. Gold Cup.jpg

I have the gi version. I found it to be very accurate. I mostly use cci minimag. The only defect in my pistol is I cannot fire 12 +1. But I don't really need to. It is a whole bunch of fun.
